Local Knowledge

We have over 20 years experience of the area, both summer and winter, and know many of the local guides and instructors. We are also familiar with many of the restaurants, bars and shops and are happy to advise and introduce.

The Skiing

Val d'Isère, Tignes, Les Arcs, La Rosière and Ste Foy are all within a short drive. Many Val / Tignes instructors and guides live in our village. You have the options of exploring the vast expanses offered by the Espace Killy, or the more gentle slopes of La Rosiere with a long cruise down to Italy for a pasta and Chianti lunch in La Thuile. Alternatively there are the wonderful, uncrowded slopes of Ste Foy; the Tarentaise's newest and, as yet, unexploited resort. Courchevel and the Trois Vallées are also within easy reach
