Chalet TinTin - Sainte Foy -
Welcome to Chalet TinTin.
Situated high in the resort of Sainte Foy, right in the heart of the Tarentaise valley in the French Alps, TinTin offers you a great base to explore this amazing region. We're passionate about snowboarding and skiing and believe that the riding here is some of the best in the world. We provide a full package of everything you need for the best winter holiday you've ever had. Our superb 130 year-old chalet is located to allow you to slide straight from the door to the chairlift, then straight back to the door at the end of the day. We offer hosted days out to access the best riding around the whole area - you can ride here, Les Arcs, Tignes, Val d'Isere or La Rosiere all in one week. We provide great food and unlimited wine & beer so you don't have to worry about a thing.
Chalet TinTin provides a mixture of accommodation, sleeping up to 12 people in total. We have three luxurious double bedrooms; 2 double bedrooms with vanity unit and en-suite shower/WC and one double bedroom with a large shared bathroom across the corridor. In addition, we have a quirky mezzanine level with double bed, a further double bed on the middle floor (in a curtained-off area by the traditional bread oven) and bunks on the lower floor. Let us know what mixture of accomodation your group needs and we will be happy to advise what will work best for you. Downstairs we have ample secure storage space for boards and skis and a maintenance/servicing area complete with board/ski and all the tools you could ever hope to need. On the top floor, we have a spacious lounge and dining area, complete with Satellite Freeview, DVD player, PS2, wireless net access and breathtaking views.
- Bunk Room -
Our policy on food is simple: good food, and lots of it. We don't claim to be aiming for any michelin stars, but we think we put out a pretty good table. All our accomodation prices include meals on a half-board basis. That gets you hot breakfast every day, three-course dinner every night (except Wednesday) and all the cakes, tea, coffee, wine and beer you can handle. We can also provide packed lunches for big days out on the hill, when you might be far away from restaurants (we charge € 8 for this).
We can cater for most special dietary requirements if we're given enough warning so please let us know your requirements as early as possible. We've catered for many, many different dietary requirements in the past, from vegetarians to severe allergies so we're happy to handle almost anything.
We take one night off per week. Sainte Foy resort has a handful of good restaurants. We can point you in the right direction or book somewhere for you, just ask. Sainte Foy village (five minutes drive from the resort) has more options for eating out, we can advise on how to get there and back in the evening.

All of our prices are per person, per week and include:
- 7 nights accomodation in Chalet TinTin
- Hot breakfast and 4-course dinner on 6 nights of the week (we still provide breakfast on our day off, just no hot option)

Supplements & Discounts
- Single supplement - we charge a 75% single supplement if you want to stay in one of our double rooms on your own. No supplement is payable for our Mezzanine, bunk or bread oven rooms - there is a discount on lift passes for adults sharing these rooms, see below.
- Children - we offer a 25% discount for children aged 12 or under.
- Half-price lift-pass offer - adults sharing our Mezzanine, bunk or bread-oven rooms get 50% off lift passes when pre-paid through us.
